A decent movie of people dealing with developmental disabilities, focused on two particular characters with Autism. This movie is a good illustration of higher functioning Autistic people, their quirks and how they end up dealing with life. It gives parents hope for the future of their children.

Perhaps the most well known movie having the depiction of an Autistic Savant. Dustin Hoffman's portrayal is a must see to get an idea of the limited world in which Autistic people function.

Autism is a World - CNN
A documentary suggested and mostly written by a woman with Autism and a severe communication disability. Finding a way to express herself and make herself heard, she takes you through a journey of living her life for a couple of days. To otherwise meet her on the street you would not think she was so articulate. A must see.
